Tennis website design

Web Design

The first real contact someone has with your tennis club is often through your website. They'll look you up online before they do anything else, before they visit, talk to a coach or pick up a racket. At that moment, first impressions matter. If they land on an old, hard to understand or difficult to use website, they're highly likely to click off and head elsewhere. They’ll find another tennis club, one with a welcoming and professional online presence.

When you have a modern website, people trust you. They want to get involved, they’re interested in what you do and they want to know more. At Wood & Ham, that’s exactly what our tennis club websites do.

Tennis web design focused on results

Your tennis website needs to be easy to read, engaging and simple to use. It should highlight how good your club is, tell people what you have to offer and make it easy for them to take the next step, whether that means joining, booking a session or getting in touch to find out more.

Our experience comes from working in sports, where people don't pay attention for long and have high expectations. That means we focus on the things that are most important - clear messaging, a straightforward structure, strong visual design that shows off your club, and staying well away from anything too complicated.

Taking the time to understand your club

Understanding how your club works is the first step in any website design project. What do your members want? What do you want to say? What’s not working about your current website? Where are people getting lost or leaving? We then design a new and improved website, taking all that into account.

That could mean making your navigation simpler, so that people can find important information quickly. It might mean making it easier for people to ask about memberships and coaching. It could be about showing off your club in a way that feels like who you are now, not who you were five years ago. No two tennis clubs are alike, so no two websites should be either.

Lewis and his team were amazing to work with, they led us through the process of creating a unique brand all the way to having a slick and modern website. Lewis's communication skills made the whole process of getting to a finished website very easy to navigate. He gave us different design ideas that were all first class but with different flavours allowing us to pick and choose what we liked, to create something that we and he felt reflected the tennis club. The team was very accomodating and adaptable when we had a new idea that we wanted to try and incorporate, which is a real bonus. Overall a pleasure to work with Lewis and his team and would highly recommend W&H as a design agency.

Functionality vs. design

From simple booking systems and integrated calendars, to informative content that your team can easily update, we build websites that work hard behind the scenes. Our goal is to make something that looks good, works flawlessly and helps your club to run smoothly every day.

We strike a balance between functionality and design. We use your branding, clean layouts, strong typography and bold imagery to create websites that are professional and designed with purpose.

Growth-friendly websites that work

Your tennis club website should help you to reach your goals, whether you're hoping to get more members, promoting coaching, sharing information about holiday clubs or trying to make a mark locally. We design every aspect of tennis websites to align with those goals. It’s not enough to have a website that simply exists online, you need a website that grows with you.

At Wood & Ham, our tennis website designs make the right impression, putting the spark back into your online presence.
