The challenge

Following the completion of their 2024-2026 strategic plan, Tennis Wales needed a concise and visually engaging interactive document to communicate their strategic goals, current challenges, and proposed solutions. The key objective was to effectively engage a broad audience that included clubs, coaches, players, commercial partners, and other stakeholders. The document needed to stand out from previous iterations as Tennis Wales had the vision to create a very visually engaging document that would keep people reading. Tennis Wales sought an interactive document that would not only be informative but also inspire action.

Our work

We collaborated closely with Tennis Wales to develop an interactive document that truly resonated with their diverse audience. Together with the Tennis Wales team, we helped craft a visual identity for the document that felt familiar to the LTA’s brand identity, honouring their connection with the LTA, while being distinct enough to feel unique for Tennis Wales. We focused on bold, bright visuals and a clear, intuitive structure, using emotionally engaging photography of the Welsh landscape to anchor the content.

Our work

Interactive elements, such as clickable sections and dynamic visuals, were incorporated to make the document highly engaging and easy to navigate. The typography was chosen to be impactful and modern, helping to create a sense of urgency and relevance. By structuring the content to flow naturally, we ensured the document was accessible, clear, and easy to digest, effectively conveying key messages without overwhelming the audience.

The outcome

The new strategy document was well-received, with a notable increase in engagement compared to previous versions. Its interactive and visually striking design enabled Tennis Wales to communicate their 2024-2026 goals more effectively, ensuring stronger connections with stakeholders. The document now serves as a valuable tool for promoting the strategic vision and driving progress toward their objectives.

What I loved about W&H Design is they really care about getting all the details right, they don't just listen they offer their point of view on every detail. They take a very different vantage point from other designers I have worked with. Every mock up design I viewed was outstanding. The only challenge was which brilliant design to chose. W&H Design will be the primary creator for all my content development moving forwards
