Recently we had the pleasure of attending the Surrey LTA Level 4 coaching qualification, which is currently underway and already proving to be a hugely positive experience for everyone involved.

Delivered in partnership between Surrey Tennis and the LTA, the course marks an important milestone for tennis coaching in the county. Not only has it brought together an impressive group of coaches and tutors, it is also the first time the Level 4 qualification has taken place on Surrey soil, making it a particularly special moment for the local tennis community.
Wood & Ham attended the day to capture photography and video of the course in action, documenting the coaches, tutors and on-court sessions that make up this high-level qualification.
Our aim was to capture more than just the structure of the course itself. Events like this are about the people, energy and collaboration that drive the sport forward. From coaches working through on-court scenarios to tutors leading discussions and sharing knowledge, the day had a fantastic atmosphere and a real sense of purpose.

As a design and creative agency that works closely with tennis organisations and governing bodies, it’s always rewarding to document moments like this. Coach development programmes such as the LTA Level 4 qualification play a key role in strengthening the sport at every level, and it’s great to be able to help tell that story through photography and video.
We look forward to sharing more images and highlights from the course as it continues, and we’re grateful to Surrey Tennis and the LTA for inviting us along to capture such an important milestone for tennis coaching in the county.s it continues.
