A Year of Growth, Collaboration and Impact in Sport
2025 has been a huge year for us at Wood & Ham. From national events and merchandise projects to education, team growth and volunteering, it’s been a year that really reflects what we care about: sport, people, and meaningful design.
Here are our top five highlights from the year.

1. LTA Padel National Championships
One of the standout moments of 2025 was partnering with LTA Padel on the LTA Padel National Championships — a true first of its kind in the UK.
We were commissioned to create a bespoke hero graphic for the event, designed to work across promotion, on-site branding and merchandise. The illustration celebrated padel players alongside the Bristol landscape, giving the Championships a strong visual identity that felt rooted in place and culture.
Held at Rocket Padel Bristol, the event was an incredible experience to be part of, and the feedback on the artwork and branding was hugely encouraging. Seeing a piece of work live across so many touchpoints is always special — and this one really set the tone for the year.

2. Growing the Wood & Ham Team
Another major milestone in 2025 was growing the Wood & Ham team, with Jemima joining the studio earlier this year.
From day one, Wood & Ham has been about creating a space where people feel excited to work, enjoy collaborating, and are exposed to a wide variety of projects across sport. Bringing Jemima on board was something I’d wanted to do for a long time, and it’s been a genuine breath of fresh air for the business.
Her impact has been felt across everything we do — and growing the team in the right way has been one of our proudest achievements this year.

3. Surrey County Championships Merchandise
Merchandise was another big highlight, particularly our work for the Surrey County Championships.
For the first time ever at the event, merchandise was introduced — and we were asked to design a bespoke illustration for the back of t-shirts and hoodies. The Championships were held at the All England Community Ground in Raynes Park, and the response was incredible.
The junior stock sold out, the feedback was overwhelmingly positive, and even now we still see players wearing the kit on court. Seeing something you’ve designed become part of people’s everyday sporting life is exactly why we love what we do.

4. LTA Webinar Series: Brand Basics & Audience Growth
Education is a big part of our work, so delivering a three-part webinar series in partnership with the Lawn Tennis Association was another major highlight. The sessions focused on:
Brand basics
Growing your audience
Digital essentials for clubs and sports organisations
With over 150 clubs attending, the series sparked brilliant conversations around values, visibility and consistency — and it was hugely rewarding to see so many organisations engaging with these topics and taking practical ideas away.

5. Supporting Para-Standing Tennis Globally
Finally, one of the most meaningful parts of our year has been our ongoing volunteer work with the International Para Standing Tennis Association (IPSTA).
Helping support the growth of para-standing tennis globally, even in a small way, has been incredibly rewarding. The speed at which the sport is developing is remarkable, and being able to contribute our skills to something with such genuine impact is something we’re extremely proud of.
