It’s always a pleasure to work on the Surrey Tennis Quarterly, and the latest edition - our seventh - is packed with stories that remind us why grassroots sport matters so much.

From title-winning County Cup teams and a special visit from Sir Andy Murray, to standout performances at Wimbledon, this edition showcases the determination, skill, and spirit that run through Surrey’s tennis community. There are features on inspiring players, inclusive programmes, and behind-the-scenes efforts from coaches and volunteers that make such a difference on and off the court.

For us at Wood & Ham, the Surrey Tennis Quarterly is more than just a publication. It’s a platform to share moments that often don’t make the headlines but mean the world to the people involved. These are the stories of perseverance, community pride, and love for the game - the lifeblood of grassroots sport.

We’re proud to play a small part in bringing them to life and shining a light on the achievements that keep tennis thriving across the county.
