2025 has been a truly standout year for Para Standing Tennis, with the sport continuing to grow at an inspiring pace across the globe. What has been most powerful to witness is not just the increase in tournaments or countries represented, but the growing number of people picking up a racket who once believed tennis simply wasn’t for them.

That shift — from “this isn’t possible” to “this is for me” — is what makes the progress of Para Standing Tennis so special.

Growth Driven by Community and Belief

Behind every milestone in Para Standing Tennis is a dedicated, passionate community. Committees, volunteers, organisers, officials, coaches and players have all played a role in pushing the sport forward — often quietly, consistently and without expectation of recognition. Across 2025, the combined efforts of the global Para Standing Tennis community helped:

  • Expand international participation

  • Increase visibility of the sport

  • Create more opportunities for athletes to compete

  • Inspire new players to give tennis a try

It’s a reminder that meaningful growth in sport rarely comes from one individual or organisation, but from a shared belief and a collective effort.

The Power of Visibility

As Para Standing Tennis continues to evolve, visibility has become increasingly important. Clear, confident visuals help tell the story of the sport, showing athletes in action, celebrating diversity, and reinforcing that Para Standing Tennis is competitive, inclusive and here to stay.

We were proud to play a small part in the growth this year by supporting the creation of visual assets that helped showcase the sport in a consistent and professional way, always guided by the direction and ambition of the wider Para Standing Tennis leadership.

Looking Ahead to 2026

With the foundations laid in 2025, the future of Para Standing Tennis looks incredibly bright. Momentum is building, awareness is growing, and more athletes are discovering a pathway into the sport.

Credit must go to everyone involved across committees, regions and events worldwide for helping shape such a landmark year. The impact being made — both on and off the court — is already changing perceptions and opening doors.

Here’s to an even bigger and better 2026 for Para Standing Tennis.
